The Appalachian Center for Craft is Tennessee’s largest craft institution and a nationally recognized hub for hands-on learning, gallery exhibitions, academic degree program and public arts programming. Perched on the Highland Rim above Center Hill Lake, the Center blends traditional Appalachian craft with contemporary approaches to art and design. As part of Tennessee Tech University’s College of Fine Arts, we offer academic programs, workshops, outreach initiatives, and vibrant gallery spaces that support makers at every stage—from emerging students to established artists shaping the field.
