Third Thursdays Concert Series Returns to Dogwood Performance Pavilion

Enjoy warm summer evenings filled with live music as the Third Thursdays Concert Series returns to the Dogwood Performance Pavilion. Hosted May through August, this popular series offers free concerts on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m., featuring a different band and a variety of musical genres for all ages to enjoy.

Sponsored by the Cookeville Arts Council, Third Thursdays invites the community to gather, relax, and experience high-quality live entertainment in the heart of downtown Cookeville. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and make an evening of it in nearby Dogwood Park.

The series kicks off on May 21 at 7:30 p.m. with an exciting performance by Kentucky Just Us. Celebrating 10 years of music, this award-winning band from Glasgow, Kentucky, is known for its energetic blend of Country, Bluegrass, and Folk. Led by National Banjo Champion Jesse Meador, the group has gained international recognition with their hit single “Homeward Bound,” which reached No. 1 on multiple bluegrass charts worldwide.

Fresh off winning the 2025 Josie Music Award for Fan’s Choice Duo/Group of the Year, Kentucky Just Us continues to captivate audiences with their tight harmonies, expert musicianship, and dynamic stage presence. Their latest album, “10,” celebrates a decade of success while showcasing their evolving sound.
