A lifelong Upper Cumberland native who grew up in Monterey, Tennessee, Amy comes from a family deeply rooted in public service. Her grandfather served as a Tennessee State Senator, and her mother was Putnam County Mayor, shaping Amy’s lifelong passion for community leadership and civic engagement. In this conversation, Amy shares her journey from growing up in the Upper Cumberland to leading the Chamber of Commerce, where she now works to support local businesses, encourage economic growth, and strengthen the community she has always called home. Beyond her professional role, Amy also talks about balancing leadership with life as a wife and mom, and how her upbringing continues to influence her approach to serving Cookeville and the surrounding region.
