Cookeville Art Studio & Gallery is set to host its First Annual Art Gala Fundraiser on May 16 at Willow Window, bringing together local artists, art enthusiasts, and the community for an evening celebrating creativity in the Upper Cumberland while supporting the future of the arts locally.
The gala will feature a curated collection of artwork from talented local artists, with pieces available for purchase throughout the evening. As part of the fundraiser, participating artists will split proceeds from artwork sales 50/50 with Cookeville Art Studio & Gallery, helping directly support the studio’s ongoing programming, workshops, events, and community art initiatives.
Guests will also experience live action painting demonstrations, complimentary caricatures, interactive artistic elements, and an elevated atmosphere designed to spotlight the region’s growing arts community.
“This event is about more than just displaying art,” said Terri Ritter, President of the Cookeville Art Studio. “It’s about creating an experience that celebrates local creativity while helping sustain a space where artists of all ages and experience levels can continue to learn, create, and connect.”
The evening aims to highlight the importance of the arts within the Upper Cumberland while giving attendees the opportunity to support local artists and invest in the future of community art programming.
The Art Gala is expected to draw guests from across the region and will serve as a vibrant evening of culture, conversation, and community connection.
