Drake’s Cookeville TN | Food, Sports and Community Under One Roof

Food, Sports, and Community Under One Roof

In a growing city filled with new restaurants and gathering spaces, Drake’s has quickly carved out a place as one of Cookeville’s favorite destinations for food, sports, family dinners, and nights out with friends. More than just a restaurant, Drake’s has become a social hub where the atmosphere feels just as important as the menu itself.

From the moment guests walk through the doors, the energy is unmistakable. TVs play everything from sports to viral videos, music fills the room, and conversations flow easily between tables, the bar, and the patio. According to the Drake’s team, the goal has always been simple: create a place that feels approachable, welcoming, and fun for everyone.

“Whether you’re stopping in after work, grabbing dinner with family, watching the game, or hanging out on the patio, there’s really something for everyone,” the team shared. “Cookeville has a strong sense of community, and we work hard to make sure our restaurant reflects that.”

A Menu Designed for Everyone

That “something for everyone” mindset is especially evident in the menu. Drake’s is known for its bold combination of burgers, sushi, shareables, cocktails, and local beers, creating a dining experience that stands apart from traditional casual restaurants. Guest favorites include the Juicy Lucy mini burgers, Crab Rangoon sushi roll, Crunchy Munchy roll, Trashed Wings, and Buffalo Chicken Dip. Seasonal burgers, sushi specials, and rotating cocktails also keep regular guests coming back to try something new.

The restaurant’s patio has also become one of its biggest draws, especially during warmer months. Designed to feel like an extension of the lively indoor atmosphere, the outdoor space gives guests a place to relax, gather, and linger a little longer.

Rooted in Hospitality and Community

Beyond the food and atmosphere, Drake’s places a strong emphasis on hospitality and community involvement. Through local partnerships, school support, charitable Give Back Nights, and initiatives like Drake’s Star Club for teachers, the restaurant continues investing in the people who support it.

“At its core, Drake’s is a neighborhood restaurant and bar,” the team explained. “More than anything, we want Drake’s to feel like it belongs to this community, rather than existing in it.”

As Cookeville continues to grow, Drake’s hopes to remain the kind of place people return to for both milestone celebrations and everyday moments alike, delivering the same welcoming energy and genuine hospitality that have made it a local favorite.
