On this episode of The Upper Cumberland Lifestyle Show, we sit down with Serina Wells, owner of Petal + Rake. She grew up in the nursery trade with grandparents who owned a wholesale retail nursery. There are photos of her as a toddler in a playpen surrounded by houses of red geraniums. It was practically in her DNA. With a degree in psychology and 30 years in the building trade, she never imagined horticulture would become her path. But when she discovered flower farming was actually a thing, everything changed. And as she says, it all went downhill from there. We talk about her roots, her leap into flower farming, and what it really takes to grow something beautiful from the ground up right here in the Upper Cumberland.
