In a heartfelt effort to give back to the community, Poppy & Pearl partnered with Heritage Pointe, a local assisted living home in Cookeville that provides compassionate care and daily support, to host a special day of beauty for its residents.
The salon welcomed approximately 8 to 10 residents to its downtown location for complimentary blowouts, creating an afternoon centered around confidence, connection, and care. Guests were pampered in a vibrant, welcoming space while enjoying meaningful interaction with the salon team.
Located at 136 East Broad Street, Poppy & Pearl now occupies the fully renovated space that once housed Borden’s Jewelry. After purchasing the building in 2025, the salon transformed it into a chic, full-service beauty destination in the heart of historic downtown Cookeville.
Founded by Emily Bochette, a Cookeville native and celebrity hair and makeup artist, Poppy & Pearl blends elevated beauty services with a strong sense of community. After years in Nashville working with high-profile clients, Bochette returned home to create a space that includes salon suites and a dedicated blowout bar.
Bochette’s portfolio includes work with notable names such as Brittany Aldean, Katelyn Brown, Lauren Alaina, Raelynn, Jessie Jo Dillon, Brittney Kelley, Tia-Clair Toomey, Caleigh Hardy, Jessie James Decker, among others.
While known for its welcoming atmosphere and elevated approach to beauty, the salon’s mission extends beyond the chair.
“This was about more than hair,” Bochette shared. “It was about making these women feel seen, valued, and beautiful. Being able to give back to our community in this way means so much to our team.”
